Interest in the laboratory is taken in several kinds of plastic
working technologies and also in relevant plastic properties and
behavior of work materials. Each problem is analyzed theoretically
and/or experimentally from the mechanical and/or metallurgical point
of view. A system constructed in the laboratory, which consists of a
personal computer and its peripheral instruments, is used flexibly and
successfully for various experiments in order to attain their each
object.
Research Topics:
- Development and processing of super-plastic alloy
- Prediction of deformation-induced martensitic transformation of
SUS304 stainless steel
- Prediction and control of microstructure and mechanical
properties of hot forged steels
- Computer simulation of forging process
- Deformation analysis for shearing process using FEM
- Computer analysis of shape and profile of rolled strip
- Shearing of IC lead flame
- Optimization of FEM
